Abstract
Construction projects come with a variety of equipment that produce a variety of noise levels, this equipment has the potential to produce high noise levels that can impact people's health in various ways. These effects include damage to the sense of hearing both temporarily and permanently, communication disorders, and physiological impacts. This study aims to analyze construction project noise involving construction equipment. This study identifies and classifies construction equipment that produces noise with a total of 16 pieces of construction equipment; 2 with high noise intensity; 5 with medium noise intensity; 9 with low noise intensity. The analysis used the calculation of the average noise intensity level normalized to 8 hours (Lex) so that finally a uniform classification can be made. In addition, this study also develops a plan for noise mitigation and control methods of noise that exceed the threshold value.
