Steady temperature in a composite elliptic cylinder

Abstract

Classical methods are used to determine: the steady temperature distribution in a finite elliptic cylinder consisting of any number of planeparallel layers. ,As illustration of the general procedure, the case of a homogeneous isotropic elliptic cylinder is treated in some detail.
