Abstract

Agricultural soil is decreasing due to erosion, environmental pollution, unconscious irrigation and fertilization day by day. On the other hand, it is necessary to increase agricultural production in order to meet the nutritional needs of the growing population and to meet the needs of the developing industry. Nano fertilizers have begun to be produced in order to obtain the highest quality and amount of production from the unit area. The most important properties of these fertilizers are that they contain one or more of macro and micro nutrients, they can be applied in small amounts and frequently and they are environmentally friendly. In this review, the classification of nano fertilizers, the advantages and disadvantages were discussed.
