Digital technologies as a tool for effective business management

Abstract

The purpose of our research is to consider the digital economy as a tool for effective business process management. To achieve this purpose, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: consider the foreign experience of digitalization at the state level; identify the main digitalization strategies in different countries; identify digital technologies used in the business community. Today, the business sector is actively adopting digital technologies, such as cloud technologies, data analysis, digital platforms, mobile devices, etc. Digital technologies allow a business to sell products with minimal costs in the shortest possible time, expand the market for products, analyze the needs of the population and expand the customer base. Presence of a permanent customer base exactly that is one of the tools to increase the company's profits. In addition, digitally lagging enterprises show low competitiveness and low customer engagement. The digital transformation of the business sector is one of the priority tasks of orienting companies towards innovative development. One example of digital transformation is the cloud technology usage. Among the cloud technologies, SaaS can be of note, as it does not require installation on a computer and provides subscription services. One of the advantages of this cloud technology is the ability to choose tariffs depending on the services used. The active use of cloud SaaS technology has led to the emergence of a number of companies that provide Internet resources for rent. Among them are platforms such as Wix, Storeland, the Amazon.com portal and the eBay online auction, etc. Among the advantages of SaaS are low prices, the ability to use both from a computer and from mobile devices, and among the disadvantages - the possibility of losing part of the data and low speed of work under high loads.
