Ten Principles of Maqasid al-Shariah

Abstract

The current study, “Ten Principles of the Maqasid al-Shari’ah”, deals with a review of the major ten principles of the science of Maqasid al-Shari’ah among the forerunners, latecomers and contemporary scholars of Shariah purposes. Therefore, this research can be an additional link to what our distinguished scholars have written in the field of legal purposes. The researcher tried to root the ten principles, interrogate the texts, take advantage of the multiple references and put them in the form of scientific research, supporting this with the most important legal texts, jurisprudential, fundamental, intentional, and linguistic sources.
