Abstract
Magnetic resonance techniques have been applied in some photoreactions originally investigated by Ciamician and Silber, and in related systems inspired by their studies. Some photoreactions of ketones, oximes, and olefins are discussed. These studies have conveyed insight into mechanistic details and revealed the existence of unique intermedi-ates. © 1988 IUPAC
