Abstract

The China-Taiwan conflict has again caught the world's attention. This is marked by increased Chinese military activity in Taiwan's airspace, which is claimed as an effort to maintain stability. On the other hand, Taiwan vehemently rejects China's actions and considers such actions a violation of its sovereignty. The tensions between China and Taiwan, as well as the tendency of the United States (US) deportment towards the situation, are caused by Taiwan having an important role in the region.
