Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between psychosis and body care. The experience report method was adopted, based on a work performed in a Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS). Delusional contents may hamper health promotion. There is an important rate of clinical comorbidities in people diagnosed with chronic mental disorders, due to factors such as smoking, poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, and medication side effects. Mental Health is a clinic of subjects, of singularities that need to exist and coexist in a collective, which requires creativity and sensitivity that does not fit into protocols. We need to build a possible care, consistent with the means that enable each subject to be in the world.
