New Conceptual Frameworks for Writing Center Work

Abstract

The article presents a speech by Nancy M. Grimm, humanities professor in Michigan Tech, delivered at the International Writing Centers Association Conference in 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She discusses several topics including conceptual frames, impact of the work to the world and attentiveness to conceptual frameworks. In addition, she cites the reason for differences among writing centers.
