The coordination model for non-aqueous solvents

Abstract

The historical development of the coordination model is briefly discussed. The use of this approach to indicate that the essential solvent properties involve donor-acceptor interactions and solvation is presented. Various ways to estimate these solvent properties are critically discussed. © IUPAC
