Abstract
(Cancer Cell 4, 31–39; July 2003) We, the authors of the paper, demonstrated that a cell-permeable peptide derived from caveolin-1 effectively blocked VEGF-induced vascular permeability in inflammation and tumor progression models but not in an angiogenesis model without vascular leakage stimulated by bFGF (Figure 4). We have recently identified an oversight involving the inadvertent duplication of the AP-Cav-X image, which was mistakenly used for the Cavtratin panel (top panels in the absence of bFGF). This error occurred in the final stages of image production and doesn't affect the quantification or interpretation of the experiment. We take full responsibility for this mistake and have provided the correct image below. We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused.[Formula presented]
