Abstract

In view of the selection of the grounding types for residential Low Voltage DC (LVDC) power supply system, this paper takes the current effect on human body as the standard to sort out the main causes, influencing factors and circumstances of electric shock accidents. Combined with the characteristics and limitations of common safety protection measures, the risk of typical electric shock accidents in TN grounding system and IT grounding system is analyzed. Then Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to establish the quantitative evaluation index for safety protection performance of the system. Finally, through quantitative comparison and analysis, it is verified that the IT grounding system has higher safety protection performance than the TN grounding system in the civil field.
