Abstract

Key Points Approximately 21,800 adult survivors of childhood cancer in the United States carry a pathogenic or likely pathogenic variant in 1 of 156 known cancer predisposition genes. Clinicians should counsel their patients who are adult survivors of childhood cancer regarding their risk of carrying a genetic mutation that could increase their risk of developing a second primary cancer.
