Two new species of Junghuhnia (Basidiomycota, Polyporales), and a key to the species of China

Abstract

The knowledge of Junghuhnia in China is summarized, and nine species in the genus were found. A key to the Chinese species of the genus is presented. Two species, J. pseudominuta H. S. Yuan & Y. C. Dai and J. rhizomorpha H. S. Yuan & Y. C. Dai, are described as new. The former is characterized by resupinate to effused-reflexed basidiocarps, tiny pores, presence of gloeocystidia and encrusted skeletocystidia, and small basidiospores; the latter by rhizomorphic margin, fairly small pores and small, broadly ellipsoid to subglobose basidiospores.
