Abstract

Selectivity with food and food related behavioural difficulties are relatively common in children on the Autistic Spectrum. This may result in an inadequate nutritional status. Integration of sensory signals in the brain associated with textures, tastes and smells has been postulated as a possible cause. © Journal compilation © 2008 Blackwell Publishing Ltd.
