Abstract

A facile vacuum-assisted vapor deposition process has been developed to control the pore size of ordered mesoporous silica materials in a stepwise manner with angstrom precision, providing an unprecedented paradigm for screening a designer hydrophobic drug nanocarrier with optimized pore diameter to maximize drug solubility. © 2013 American Chemical Society.
