Critical analysis of the responses generated by Chat GPT on syntactic funtions

Abstract

Introduction: This study examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly Chat GPT, on education, focusing on its potential to complement the teaching of syntax in the Spanish language. Methodology: A mixed-methods approach was employed, including surveys conducted with primary education students and a qualitative analysis of content generated by Chat GPT, assessing its coherence, accuracy, and pedagogical usefulness. Results: Significant use of Chat GPT was observed among students (70%), although 80% identified errors in its content, highlighting deficiencies in examples and conceptual clarity. Discussion: While Chat GPT demonstrates potential as an educational tool, improvements in accuracy, examples, and linguistic context adaptation are necessary to ensure its effectiveness. Conclusions: Optimizing AI tools to provide reliable and contextualized educational content is crucial, emphasizing the need for interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance their applicability in syntax learning.
