Abstract
A review with 91 refs. The review summarizes the literature through 2007 pertaining to photochem. and photo-initiated org. reactions in SCF solvents. Photochem. reactions involving organometallic compds. in SCF solvents have been extensively studied by Poliakoff and co-workers. The emphasis is on reaction chem. in which stable products are formed and isolated, and how the unique features of the SCF medium influence reaction yields, rates, and/or selectivities.
