Abstract
An economical and practical methodology was selected, adapted and applied to determine emissions from the actual vehicular fleet of Bogotá city. The methodology is based on air quality and meteorological measurements, traffic counts and inverse application of an air quality model. Results from a tracer study are presented here, which were used to validate the application of air quality model. The emission factors from light duty, heavy duty and for all vehicles are presented here for all the pollutants evaluated. Emissions from heavy duty vehicles are higher than those from light duty vehicles. (English) [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
