Abstract

We announce the draft genome sequence of Mycobacterium austroafricanum DSM 44191T (= E9789-SA12441T), a nontuberculosis species responsible for opportunistic infection. The genome described here has a size of 6,772,357 bp with a G+C content of 66.79% and contains 6,419 protein-coding genes and 112 RNA genes.
