Abstract

Aphodius inurbanus Gordon & Howden, A. perotensis Deloya & Lobo, and A. urangai Islas are redescribed andillustrated. The new genus Neotrichonotulus is proposed for the three Mexican taxa. The genus is easilydistinguishable from Trichonotulus by having the pronotum not bordered at base and the head glabrous.
