Abstract

A new 26-membered macrolide, amphidinolactone B, has been isolated from a marine dinoflagellate Amphidinium sp., and the structure and relative stereochemistry were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data. Amphidinolactone B (1) showed modest cytotoxicity. © Japan Antibiotics Research Association.
