Online learning is a learning method carried out by all educational institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic aimed at breaking the chain of the spread of COVID-19. This study aims to determine student perceptions of online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic phase by using a descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 273 Indonesian Adventist University students who were selected using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria that students actively participate in online learning in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. provide high learning motivation (disagree 49.8%), carried out on time according to the study schedule (agree 56.4%), online learning materials are presented following the syllabus (SAP) (agree 57.5%), lecturers provide responses to questions and opinions that arise (agree 52.7%), the lecturer allows you to provide questions or opinions (strongly agree 52.7%), the media or application used is very easy to use (51.6%). It can be concluded that online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic phase received a good response from students and it is recommended that lecturers always provide high motivation to students so that they can help students in the learning process
