Abstract
One of the existing bakery businesses is Java Bakery. Java Bakery has many competitors, namely similar bakery businesses, so it must win the hearts of customers in a very tight competition. Java Bakery must produce products with good taste and quality. Therefore it takes a baker who is able to not lose customers and make a profit. However, the selection of bread making equipment is still manual and not objective, because it is done on the basis of family relationships or close relatives. This baker recruitment as the spearhead in the bakery business has not been maximized, because to become a baker one must have the ability or creativity that is qualified in making bread or cake products so that they have a characteristic. AHP and MOORA methods are used in this study where AHP is used for weighting criteria and ranking with the MOORA method. As an objective, fast and transparent recommendation in determining the choice of baker is the goal of this research. Combination of two methods in DSS to achieve optimal results. This research is expected to be an indicator of decision outcomes to assist decision makers in choosing acceptable bakers. The calculation results with the highest ranking are: Jon Sinaga with a value of (0.5112), this combination of methods is right for choosing an acceptable baker.
