Abstract
Treatment regimens for the management of severe preeclampsia-eclampsia and for mild to moderate pregnancy-induced hypertension have been described. The results following their use have been evaluated carefully and found to be good. Even though the treatment regimens are to a considerable degree empiric, there are extensive data, rather than theory and dogma, to justify their clinical application.
