Abstract

Abstract. PT. XYZ is a mining company that is currently exploring bauxite ore in Mempawah Regency. Therefore, it is necessary to estimate resources to proceed to the production stage. The purpose of the study was to determine the distribution of grades, resource estimation based on Al2O3 grade classification, estimation of washed and unwashed bauxite resources and to classify bauxite resources based on Kriging Efficiency. This research uses Surpac 6.6.2 software with research methodology in the form of literature study, data collection, database, data validation, statistical analysis, model construction, resource estimation using Ordinary Kriging. At this research location, there are 114 test pit with an area of 15.4 ha with a distance between the test pit 50m and bauxite sampling is carried out at 2m intervals. Based on the direct exploration data of the test pit , the resource was calculated with a limit of 35% Al2O3 and a density of 1.8 ton/m3. From the results of the variogram processing, the distribution of homogeneity of Al2O3 tends to the southeast or towards quadrant IV 327.58o. The total tonnage of unwashed bauxite (UBX) is 487,388 tons and the total tonnage for washed bauxite (WBX) is 239,893 tons. Resources at the research site are classified based on Kriging Efficiency. The slag classification is 422,438 tons, indicated 160,875 tons, and measured 748,688 tons. Abstrak. PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pertambangan yang sedang melakukan kegiatan eksplorasi bijih bauksit di Kabupaten Mempawah. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan estimasi sumberdaya untuk melanjutkan ke tahapan produksi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penyebaran kadar, estimasi sumberdaya berdasarkan klasifikasi kadar Al2O3, estimasi sumberdaya bauksit tercuci serta tidak tercuci dan mengklasifikasikan sumberdaya bauksit berdasarkan Kriging Efisiensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan perangkat lunak Surpac 6.6.2 dengan metodologi penelitian berupa studi literatur, pengumpulan data, basis data, validasi data, analisis statistik, konstruksi model, penaksiran sumberdaya menggunakan Ordinary Kriging. Pada lokasi penelitian ini, terdapat 114 titik test pit dengan luasan 15,4 Ha dengan jarak antara titik test pit 50m dan pengambilan contoh bauksit dilakukan dengan interval 2m. Berdasarkan data eksplorasi langsung test pit yang kemudian dilakukan perhitungan sumberdaya dengan batasan kadar 35% Al2O3 dan densitas 1,8 ton/m3. Dari hasil pengolahan variogram, sebaran homogenitas kadar Al2O3 cenderung ke arah tenggara atau ke arah kuadran IV 327,58o. Total tonase unwashed bauxite (UBX) sebesar 487.388 ton dan total tonase washed bauxite (WBX) sebesar 239.893 ton. Sumberdaya pada lokasi penelitian diklasifikasikan berdasarkan Kriging Efisiensi. Klasifikasi teraka sebesar 422.438 ton, tertunjuk 160.875 ton, dan terukur 748.688 ton.
