Abstract

A method of frequency offset is proposed in this paper in Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems which is the improvement of Schenk and Zelst's method. In the new method a two-steps strategy is adopted. First a small correlation span is used to get large estimation range. After the estimated frequency offset is compensated, a large correlation span is used to make the estimation more precise. The simulations in AWGN channel and Rayleigh channel verified the valid of the proposed algorithm. © 2004 IEEE.
