Abstract
The objective of this work is to address how an Andean Ethnohistory was constituted and how it crossed relations between countries, regions, disciplines and research topics. I approach the conformation of this field analyzing collective research practices. I place the emergence of the Andean Ethnohistory within a set of articulations between Anthropology and History. I explore the forms that lo andino acquires in academic productions, synthesizing how an Ethnoh istory defined as Andean was conceived and what were the discussions that took place within this field around lo andino. Finally, I discuss the challenges that the debates about lo andino implied for the ethnohistorical studies in the last decades.
