Abstract
Cerebral monitoring is important for management of severe head injury. It is also used in subarachnoid haemorrhage, stroke, intracerebral haematoma, meningitis, encephalopathies, hepatic failure, after neurosurgery and in patients undergoing carotid artery surgery.
