Abstract
This study shows the analysis of differentaerodynamicsetups like wing with different shapes of aero foil employed to increase the braking performance of a car. The aerodynamic co-efficient force and air flow over the car body were studied with rear wing and different angles were studied by CFD analysisand wind tunnel. The rear wing was designed based on NACA air foil profiles 6412, 4414 and 2414 for better braking performance for increase of downward force of car body. The vehicle speed and driving conditions can be varied to show aerodynamics is utilized in braking and also improves the safety and stability of the vehicle. By studying the drag co-efficient, lift co-efficient, braking distance depends on the drives to prove that dynamic aerodynamics used in braking mode can improve of driving safety.
