Abstract

GPs play an important role in identifying and referring men with suspected prostate cancer for further investigation, and are also increasingly responsible for the management of men with stable disease in the community. This article gives an overview of the recommended approaches to diagnosis and management of prostate cancer with a focus on the role of primary care.
