Abstract
This paper presents the Spanish translation of the article How Dogs Dream: Amazonian Natures and the Politics of Transspecies Engagement, published ten years ago by the anthropologist Eduardo Kohn in the journal American Ethnologist. As a result of the ethnography developed among the Quichua-speaking Runa in Ecuador’s Upper Amazon, the work represented a turning point in the discipline by moving the anthropological analysis to a scope beyond human, breaking the perimeter of the object of ethnographic study by expanding the view on the interactions that humans maintain with other beings.
