Abstract
This research paper explores the impact of digital payment systems on financial management practices among small businesses. With the increasing use of UPI, mobile wallets, and other digital tools, the way small enterprises handle cash flow, record-keeping, and overall financial decision-making has significantly changed. Based on secondary data and a review of existing literature, the study finds that digital payments improve transparency, speed, and efficiency in financial operations. However, it also highlights challenges like low digital literacy, cybersecurity concerns, and infrastructure limitations. The paper concludes that while digital payments present many opportunities for growth and better financial control, addressing these challenges is essential to support wider adoption across all segments of small businesses.
