Abstract

The author briefly surveys the work of Professor J. F. Richardson in the area of non-Newtonian gas-liquid flow. Specifically, the topics discussed include: two-phase flow, drag reduction, average liquid holdup and, the role of viscoelastic behavior of liquids.
