Correlates of Active School Transport Immediately Before and After the Transition from Primary to Secondary School: A Pilot-Study

Abstract

The article presents a pilot-study which examines the correlates of active school transport (AST) before and after the transition from primary school to secondary school. It mentions that grade six students participated in the study. It shows that school transition period might be essential for the promotion of AST to attenuate the age-related physical activity decline.
