Abstract

Generic and subgeneric classifications by previous workers are reviewed and a new classification is proposed involving new characters. Keys to genera and subgenera and given, together with lists of species now included in each genus and subgenus and a list of new combinations. Two new subgenera of Dacus Fabricius, Pacifodacus and Papuodacus, are described. One new species, Dacus (Paradacus) decipiens, is described and figured. Copyright © 1972, Wiley Blackwell.
