Abstract

Black phosphorus nanosheets(BPNs), as a new biodegradable material, have good biocompatibility and unique photo-thermal/photodynamic effect. Recent studies have shown that the drug delivery system loaded with BPNs can effectively exert the effects of high-efficiency drug loading, enabling thermal response and photodynamic oxidative stress through photo-thermal effect and photodynamic effect, and could be applicated to the research fields of anti-tumor, antibacterial and promoting bone regeneration. BPNs have significant advantages and application potential in drug delivery system for controlled drug release regulation, photo-thermal/photodynamic effect synergy and enhanced therapeutic efficacy. This paper reviews the research progress of physical and chemical properties, biological properties and synergistic drug delivery of BPNs, so as to provide reference for its further research.
