Abstract

In the era of the Merdeka curriculum, schools are required to create an inclusive environment that supports peace and tolerance.  Peace-friendly schools are an important concept that emphasizes the creation of a harmonious atmosphere, free from discrimination, and encourages collaboration among school members. P5 is a strategy to integrate Pancasila values into daily educational practices. This study aims to analyze the role of P5 in building a peace-friendly school through a qualitative case study approach at SMAN 2 Patra Nusa Manyak Payed, Aceh Tamiang. P5 is implemented through thematic projects based on values such as diversity, mutual cooperation, and democracy. The research findings indicate that P5 contributes to shaping students' character to be tolerant, solution-oriented, and inclusive, while strengthening social solidarity among students. These findings provide empirical evidence supporting the Merdeka Curriculum policy as an effort to strengthen character education within the national education system.
