Abstract

The aim of this article is to show the results obtained in a project between a nursing home and the Jaume I University in Castellón. It was born from a proposed prize of both establishments. Some activities were implemented in order to contribute positively to the memory and the quality of life of the residents. On the one hand, these activities were based on Dalcroze Method: the Eurhythmics. On the other hand they are based on life histories. The appliance was implemented by teachers of the mentioned University and supervised by an external psychologist. She chose the questionnaires to be taken and, through the SPSS programme, managed the results. Despite the limited time, the project lasted 28 sessions and thanks to the success of its results we propose the continuity of the project. It is worth stressing the improvements in the participants' standards of living and their disposal to continue working together.
