Abstract

The relationship between ideology and nation integration is interrelated. The linkageaccording to the existence of the ideology, it is indeed intended to collect, to unite and tomobilize the people politically and ideologically. Therefore, it has been integrated underthe protection of the nation ideology called Pancasila. In this context, Pancasila hadbeen prepared as an ideology of unity by the nation’s founders. Pancasila has functionsas a common reference in solving differences and political conflicts between groups andthe existing political forces. Pancasila ideology plays a role in nation integration as aunifier, which can be understood through the efforts of various ideological socializationfields. This hope will be able to comprehend the meaning contained in the nationideology, the five aspects of Pancasila. Furthermore, this understanding will be able tobe implemented and be realized in various fields of real life. This is followed up by givingan opportunity to develop new thoughts that are relevant and meets the reality time bytime to make the ideology of Pancasila actual.Keywords: ideology, nation integration
