Cross-aisles multi-shuttle warehouse system has not only storage function but also the sorting function, and makes full use of warehouse space to achieve high-density storage by using high shelves. It uses "part-to-picker" order picking mode to respond quickly to orders and shorten sorting time. The performance estimation of cross-aisles multi-shuttle warehouse system includes storage capacity, throughput of system, and transaction cycle time. An effective method is proposed to estimate the system throughput and order transaction cycle time only considering single retrieval command, based on this, an integrated design framework for storage system of multi-lane shuttle vehicles across roadways is proposed. By analyzing the optimization model of system configuration, a evolutionary algorithm is proposed and the optimal configuration of the system is solved so that the cost is the lowest under the premise of meeting the system performance requirements. The framework solves the optimal configuration of the system configuration accurately and reduces the work intensity of the system designers.
