Abstract
Tannins are complex compounds in plant tissues when treated with certain metal ions to form a specific color so it can be used as a dye in textile products . The color strenght of the fabric produced is determined by the condition and temperature at the time of dyeing . The purpose of the research is to determine the effect condition of dyeing and the selection of the desired fixer produce variations in color , colour strenght values and good fastness. Dyeing is done in the heat (60-70{º}C) and at room temperature (27-30{º}C) , with fixer Al2(SO4)3 ( alum ) , CaCO3 (lime) and FeSO4 (lotus) The results showed that the direction is quite varied colors on silk ranging from yellow , golden yellow , brownish red , brown , moss green to blackish green . The optimum conditions obtained in heat dyeing (60-70{º}C) , the fixer CaCO3 which produce of colour strenght is higher ( the value of K/S ) of 19.174 and fastness to washing 40°C , light the sun and rubbing is good to excellent ( 4-5 )
