Abstract
The reuse of built heritage is one of the strategies implemented in response to some of the sustainability problems observed in the construction sector. Deconsecrated and abandoned religious buildings fall within this category. This text aims to study the solutions implemented in the city of Pavia for the readaptation of worship buildings in order to establish the correlation between valorization and reuse by analysing the periods of reuse, and the social and economic circumstances which brought them about. This serves to establish the new uses proposed and to analyse intervention strategies used depending on the profile of the property (public or private).
