Abstract

Resistance spot welding is the major joining process used in automotive body assembly. It is therefore essential that high strength steel sheet has good spot weldability. This report describes the relation of the chemical composition to the strength of spot weld, the effect of temper treatment, and fatigue test results of spot weld.
