Abstract

Organic fertilizers offer a promising pathway for improving soil fertility and sustainable agriculture in Ethiopia. Organic fertilizers are vital for Ethiopia’s sustainable agriculture but adoption is challenged by limited awareness, inadequate infrastructure, financial constraints, and policy gaps. Targeted interventions and leveraging opportunities can enhance adoption. Opportunities include growing demand for sustainability, abundant waste resources, and supportive policies. This review synthesizes current evidence and concludes with actionable recommendations for improving adoption and impacts.
