Abstract
The construction and calibration of a magnetic spectrometer for studies of 18O distributions within a solid sample using the 18OrmO(p,α)15N reaction is discussed. This approach allows probing deeper concentration profiles than does the present absorber-foil technique. A detailed description of the use of this spectrometer in nuclear microanalytical experiments is also given. © 1974.
