Abstract

Peat and lacustrine deposits from a basin mire in Mainland Shetland have been analysed for plant macrofossils and a number of species of particular phytogeographical interest recorded. Results of macrofossil and pollen analyses indicate that deposition started during Late Devensian times. Copyright © 1980, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
