Abstract

Trapped in the cold: The synthesis and structural characterization of a GaCl4- salt bearing an azidophosphenium cation is presented for the first time. This formal phosphapentacenium ion with a planar molecular skeleton is only stable at temperatures below -30 °C. Copyright © 2012 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
