Abstract

We report two cases of syringoma. Case 1 : A 62-year old Japanese woman presented with many blackish brown papules on the chest. Case 2 : A 70-year old Japanese woman presented with some brown papules on the external genitals. Based on histological findings, which included multiple cysts, ducts and epithelial cords in the dermis, we diagnosed the papules as syringoma. We started treating them by using adapalene. After 4 weeks of treatment, the papules were flattened. We examined the histological and clinical efficacy of adapalene.
