Abstract
The world's energy needs from year to year, as well as giving a bad impact on the increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases and other pollutants. So, that it becomes a major problem of the world today. Therefore, need to do research to find other renewable energy sources, including the utilization of hydrogen gas. Hydrogen gas can be produced from water electrolysis process. To detect hydrogen gas resulting from the electrolysis process can use sensor TGS 821 is done in real time by using the DAQ is connected to PC. Retrieval data on electrolysis process is performed by variation voltage; apply 9 V, 11 V, 13 V, 14 V, 15 V for the electrolysis using filters. With the hydrogen-based zeolite filter was the ability to increase the power of hydrogen adsorption on the filter through the electrolysis process. The maximum concentration of hydrogen generated from electrolysis process by using a filter for voltage 9 V is 409.34 ppm, for voltage 11 V is 502.25 ppm, for voltage 13 V is 863.12 ppm, for voltage 14 V is 964.11 ppm, for voltage of 15 V is 737.89.
